Ramiro Cuevas

(Head pro)

Ramiro Cuevas grew up on public courts and came up through tennis the long way - as a junior high player, high school player, league player high school coach, private coach and a lifelong student of the game. He was never interested in just playing tennis. He wanted to understand it: the technique, the tactics, the mindset, and the small details that separate improvement from frustration.

That belief drives the way he coaches. Ramiro has always been a student of the game, continuing to study technique, tactics, movement and mindset while learning from coaches and mentors who understand tennis at a deeper level. He does not stay locked into one method. His coaching continues to evolve because the game evolves, and ever player learns differently.

Today, as Head Pro at the H-E-B Tennis Center, Ramiro brings 34 years of playing experience and 23 years of coaching experience to Harlingen. His focus is on structured coaching, clear player development, and a commitment to helping players of all ages enjoy the game by getting better at it.
